Students’ Attitude towards the Sustainable Use of Mobile Technologies in Higher Education
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Beware space between words throughout the article. Page 2 line 46: replace who with that or which. Also take a look at indef. article a/an: see e.g. p.5 line 188. Look at use of the word highly p. 9 line 297 and 298: higher than...? Page 9: see also line 304. Page 10, line 366, 385, 388. P. 11 line 420: each other. It has become...
RE discussion about urban/rural p.10: In some countries MT facilitate young people to move to the countryside:) MT facilitating e.g. home-offices etc.
RE conclusion about a consistent body of research being positive...: I would moderate this a bit because this discussion involves substantial, political, economic and equity discussions that might make this much more complex, and you do not want to sound too positivist:). Ending with a good question showing perspective is always nice:)

Response 1:
The word who has been replaced with that (Page 2 line 46).
The change was made on p. 5, line 188: a hypothesized.
The word highly has been replaced with higher (p. 9 line 297)
We checked all above mentioned at p. 9 line 304.
Page 10, line 385, 388
The correction was made on page 11, line 366: differ.
The correction was made on page 11, line 420: each other.
Point 2: RE discussion about urban/rural p.10: In some countries MT facilitate young people to move to the countryside:) MT facilitating e.g. home-offices etc.
Response 2: The discussion on the difference between urban and rural has been completed on page 10 with the following sentence: In some predominantly rural countries (e.g., India or Romania), mobile technologies may facilitate the work at home of young people living in rural areas. However, the relationship between the students' place of residence and the use of MT for academic preparation and learning should be contextualized depending on the global socio-cultural context, the students’ economic status as well as the indicators used to measure attitudes towards the use of MT for educational purpose.
Point 3: RE conclusion about a consistent body of research being positive...: I would moderate this a bit because this discussion involves substantial, political, economic and equity discussions that might make this much more complex, and you do not want to sound too positivist:). Ending with a good question showing perspective is always nice:)
Response 3: The following changes were made to the conclusions: The use of mobile technologies can contribute to improving the teaching-learning and assessment process in higher education. Future studies should focus on the ethical aspects of using these technologies for educational purposes.
Reviewer 2 Report
This is an interesting paper and highlights the importance of being able to continue educational activities in a time of or global stress. The paper also highlights the importance of social contact in education and the ability of teachers reduce some of the stress associated with social isolation.
Some minor corrections and suggestions:
Since the body of the text refers to objectives 1-5, it would be clearer if these were numbers on pages 3-4, rather than dot points.
Tables 1 and 2 - in the first column some text seems to be misaligned and some text missing?
Some the SD figures are in the format 1,069 whilst others are in the format 1.121 - this is confusing.
On page 6 in question K is some text missing? Same for question M on page 6.
95 references for a paper is quite a large number. Are multiple references required to confirm a point or could the number of references be reduced without losing the contextualization of the work?

Point 1: Since the body of the text refers to objectives 1-5, it would be clearer if these were numbers on pages 3-4, rather than dot points.
Response 1:
On page 3, the research objectives have been separated into two distinct paragraphs to be better highlighted.
Point 2:Tables 1 and 2 - in the first column some text seems to be misaligned and some text missing?
Response 2:In Tables 1, 2, 3, 4, the text in the first column has been left-aligned.Tables 1 and 2 were checked for possible omissions in the text. No omissions were found.

Point 4: On page 6 in question K is some text missing? Same for question M on page 6.
Response 4: I did not identify in the text on page 6 the questions K and M. Does the reviewer refer to table 2?
Point 5: 95 references for a paper is quite a large number. Are multiple references required to confirm a point or could the number of references be reduced without losing the contextualization of the work?
