Hadamard Transform Ion Mobility Spectrometry Based on Matrix Encoding Modulation
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
In this study, the authors investigated the Hadamard transform ion mobility spectrometry based on matrix encoding modulation. A certain deviation between mathematical principle of HT and actual data collection process was found.
The content of this study is interesting.
The authors should improve the language of whole manuscript.
The main drawbacks of conventional IMS are not well summarized in lines 26-30.
Many abbreviations are not defined in the main text.
The authors have introduced too many examples in the introduction section without fully summarizing them.
The authors have stated too many results/conclusion in the last part of introduction.
Add some references for the method sections.
The detailed producer, city and country should be given for each instrument, reagent and software.
More relevant references of main text should be added.
The authors should improve the language of whole manuscript.

Dear authors,
The article entitled "Hadamard Transform Ion Mobility Spectrometry Based on Matrix Encoding Modulation" is interesting and provide a new paradigm in solving the issue in field of ion mobility spectrometry. The background is well-written and easy to understand by explaining the previous researches and progresses conducted by other research groups. The experimental method is clear and the result is well-discussed. I don't detect any plagiarism through diffferent journal databases. Thus, in my opinion, this article can be accepted in this current form.
