San Sebastian, Spain
On behalf of the TEKNIKER and JOST Institute for Lubrication and Tribology, the Organizing and Scientific Committees are pleased to announce “Lubmat–Ibertrib–2024”, which will be held from 18 to 20 June 2024 in San Sebastian, Spain.
LUBMAT intends to address the industrial public without losing sight of its academic and scientific vision. The conference slogan “The closest encounter between industry and science” seeks to reinforce the links between actual practice in companies and research and development, which enables us to innovate and create products and services with increased added value.
On this occasion, the LUBMAT conference, a well-established event that is in its 9th edition, is held together with the 12th Iberian Conference on Tribology and IBERTRIB, a biennial symposium assembling researchers working on tribology from Spain and Portugal, alternating the location between both countries.
Contributions are expected until 19 January 2024, on all aspects of these three main topics:
- lubricants and lubrication management;
- tribology;
- maintenance 4.0 and condition monitoring.

Kaunas, Lithuania
On behalf of the Lithuanian Tribology Society, the Organizing Committee announces the international conference BALTTRIB 2024, which will be held from 21 to 23 November 2024 in Kaunas, Lithuania.
BALTTRIB 2024 is XII biennial conference that will address tribological research on academic, scientific and industrial institutions. The conference participants will have the opportunity to not only share their scientific achievements, publish their research contributions in conference proceedings and selected scientific journals, but also present relevant materials, teaching videos or research equipment at the table-top exhibition.
Conference topics include the following:
- Friction and wear of friction pairs in agricultural, transport and industrial machinery;
- Green tribology;
- Lubrication and lubricants;
- Micro- and nano-scale tribology;
- Tribochemistry;
- Bio-tribology;
- Environmental issues in tribology;
