Veterinary internal medicine researches the occurrence, development, prognosis, and prevention of animal non-infectious diseases. The main content is common, frequent, and cluster diseases; it focuses on the mechanism of disease occurrence, clinical symptoms, and prevention methods.
The Section Veterinary Internal Medicine publishes original peer-reviewed papers in the field of endocrinology, cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology (study of the blood), infectious diseases, nephrology/urology, neurology, respiratory diseases, pulmonology, oncology, and diseases of the immune system of animals.
