Dr. Demetrio Raldúa was appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief for Toxics.

Dr. Demetrio Raldúa is a Group Leader of Scientists at the Spanish Research Council. His research interest is the understanding of the molecular bases of the neurotoxic effects of some environmental pollutants and drugs. By using zebrafish as a vertebrate model, they try to identify the AOPs of neurotoxicants, by linking adverse effects from the molecular-initiating events to behavioral effects.

Toxics adopted a monthly publication schedule.

The first edition of the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award was announced.
