About Textiles

Aims and Scope

Textiles (ISSN 2673-7248) is an open access peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes research papers, review articles and communications on all perspectives of textile including science, engineering, design, and business. It is a multidisciplinary textile journal that encourages scientists to publish their experimental, theoretical, survey-based statistical, simulated results with necessary details. Therefore, there is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers. The full experimental and computational details must be provided so that results can be reproduced. 

Application of textiles is not only limited to clothing but is possible also in many other industrial applications that involve continuous research endeavors around the globe to advance and ease human life. The scope of the journal is very wide, including all aspects of textiles, such as: 

• Textile materials such as fiber, yarn, fabric, and apparel
• Textile- and fiber-based composites
• Technical textiles, medical textiles, clothing comfort and protective textiles
• Smart textiles
• Biotextiles
• Textile manufacturing related to fiber, yarn, fabric (weaving, knitting, nonwoven, braiding, crocheting), and apparel
• Textile processing such as pretreatment, dyeing, printing, finishing and waste management
• Textile technology, management and marketing
• Textile testing and quality control
• Fashion and apparel design
• Textile merchandising and consumer behavior
• Textile recycling and sustainability
• Textile and clothing science, engineering, chemistry and ecology
• Mathematical modelling and simulation in textile technology
• Textile history and archeology
