Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Today, the Internet has become of increasing important to current society as most of the traditional services are governed by the Internet. In other words, cyber security and privacy are essential needs for modern society where information technology and services pervade every aspect of our lives.  Therefore, the aim of this Special Issue is to provide a premier international platform for wide range of professions including scholars, researchers, academicians and industry to discuss and present the most recent challenges and developments in cyber security, privacy and networking from the perspective of providing security awareness and its best practices for the real world. We invite researchers to contribute original research articles as well as review articles that will seek to continue the efforts to understand the novel techniques that lead to future improvements in this domain. In addition, an extended version of International Conference on Cyber Security, Privacy and Networking (ICSPN 2022) which is going to be organized during 9–11 September 2022 in Thailand will also be considered to be published in this Special Issue.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Symmetry is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
