Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to submit a paper on "Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable SMEs' Performance". The Special Issue will bring together experts, researchers, and practitioners from various fields to explore the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in enhancing the resilience and sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

CSR has become an increasingly important concept for businesses of all sizes, but its impact on SMEs has been less explored. SMEs are the backbone of many economies, providing employment opportunities, contributing to economic growth, and driving innovation. However, they often face significant challenges in managing their social and environmental impact, while also ensuring their own sustainability.

The aim of this conference is to explore the different ways in which CSR can help SMEs become more resilient and sustainable, both in the short and long term. We welcome submissions from researchers, practitioners, and policy-makers on the following topics:

  • The role of CSR in enhancing the resilience of SMEs to external shocks and crises
  • The relationship between CSR and financial performance in SMEs
  • Best practices in integrating CSR into SMEs' operations and business models
  • The impact of CSR on SMEs' social and environmental performance
  • The role of CSR in enhancing SMEs' reputation and stakeholder relations
  • The implications of the implementation of SDG and ESG in SMEs

We welcome both theoretical and empirical papers, as well as case studies and practical examples.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
