Circular and Green Polymer Science
A section of Polymers (ISSN 2073-4360).
Section Information
A new approach for circularity of polymers and biopolymers includes materials design at the early stage of production, looking for ways to incorporate recycling content and/or choosing materials that are recyclable, biodegradable or compostable, and some time, move away from linear concepts. There are main pillars of circular and green polymer science.
This Polymers’ section aims to collect cutting-edge original research papers and reviews on (i) Biodegradable and Bio-based Polymers; (ii) Design and development of green polymer systems; (iii) Mechanical and chemical recycling and energy recovery of polymer and biopolymer -based systems.
