Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The ocean possesses and supports beauty, inspiration, freedom, health and vitality. The oceans are home to much more than animals. The oceans rely on plants and photosynthetic microbes to capture carbon and make it useable by life. This means that plants are at the heart of the world’s ocean ecosystems. We are excited to set up this Special Issue covering marine plant and ocean ecology. This Special Issue aims to collect high-quality manuscripts regarding, but not limited to, the following topics:

1) Interaction between animals and marine plants;

2) Photosynthesis and nutrient uptake of marine plants;

3) Production and population dynamics of marine plants;

4) Development of marine plants and cultivation technologies;

5) The effect of human activity on marine plants ecology;

6) Diversity and taxonomy of marine plants.
