Dear Colleagues,
In recent years, nutraceuticals have received tremendous attention because of their wide array of therapeutic benefits, particularly for the treatment/management of cancer and infectious disorders. However, the therapeutic efficacy of most of these nutraceuticals is substantially hampered by their instability, poor aqueous solubility, and low bioavailability. These limitations can be overcome by utilizing advanced delivery systems such as liposomes, nanostructured lipid carriers, noisome, nanoemulsions, and nanoparticles. The goal of this Special Issue is to emphasize advances in delivery systems for augmenting the bioavailability and/or therapeutic efficacy of nutraceuticals. We invite articles covering all aspects related to the delivery of nutraceuticals.
