Dear Colleagues,
Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs) are amazingly versatile molecules whose architectures are useful for many applications. Different strategies have been successfully applied to explore the ability of MOFs to act as drug-delivery systems. The pharmaceutical industry is constantly seeking more effective drugs and systems that can enhance the activity of drugs, and several results have demonstrated that MOFs indeed play an important role in achieving this goal, contributing to the controlled drug delivery and release of drugs.
This Special Issue aims to host research and review papers on the most recent and promising developments in MOFs regarding drug delivery.
