Inorganic Materials and Metal-Organic Frameworks

A section of Nanomaterials (ISSN 2079-4991).

Section Information

The Section, entitled "Inorganic Materials and Metal-Organic Frameworks", is devoted to multidisciplinary research at the frontier between nanomaterials and inorganic chemistry, including metal-organic frameworks. These (multi)functional nanomaterials have become an increasingly popular field of research due to the significant changes in physical and/or chemical properties that occur at this small scale. Accordingly, inorganic nanomaterials are used in a variety of applications, including catalysis, gas storage, spin crossover, sensors, magnetics, optics, and drug delivery. This Section is concerned with both fundamental and applied studies. It considers manuscripts that deal with preparation, characterization, properties, device fabrication, and applications to theoretical studies. It publishes original high-quality research, communications, articles, and review articles. Our goal is to publish a variety of high-quality, high-impact research on inorganic nanomaterials. All the manuscripts submitted for publication under this Section will be reviewed by expert Section Editors and undergo a rigorous peer-review process.
