About Micro

Aims

Micro (ISSN 2673-8023) is an international and multidisciplinary scholarly open access journal. It publishes comprehensive reviews, original scientific research articles and communications on microscale and nanoscale research and applications in physics, chemistry, materials, biology, medicine, food, environment technology, engineering, etc. Thus, theoretical and experimental articles will be welcomed.

Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical research in as much detail as possible. Full experimental or methodical details, or both, must be provided for research articles. Computed data or files regarding the full details of the experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material.

Scope

Micro covers microscale and nanoscale studies related (but not limited) to the following topics:

  • Synthesis, characterization, and manipulation of nanomaterials.
  • Micro- and nano-scale mass and heat transfer.
  • Micro- and nano-fluidics.
  • Micro- and nano-particles.
  • Micro- and nano-optics and photonics.
  • MEMS, NEMS.
  • Micro- and nano-electronic sensors and devices.
  • Micro- and nano-analysis, reactors, and separations.
  • Micro- and nano-fabrication.
  • Nanomedicine: Diagnostics, Imaging, Therapy, and Drug Development.
  • Nanotoxicity.
  • Nanoinformatics.
  • Nanobiology, biotechnology, and bioengineering.
