18–22 June 2023, Porto, Portugal
32nd International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing

The 32nd edition of the International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing will take place at the amazing and historic city of Porto, Portugal, between June 18th and June 22nd, 2023. This is a broad and well-established conference that has taken place in 27 different cities so far, alternating between Europe, the USA, and Asia.

The usual topics cover a set of different fields in the area of mechanical engineering, namely automation, robotics, materials processing, industrial management, maintenance, and Industry 4.0, among others. There are two ways of publishing in this conference: short papers will be published in a proceedings book (Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering), and extended versions of the best papers will be sent to Clarivate- or Scopus-indexed journals, following the traditional peer-reviewing process.

The conference will offer an ambitious social program with welcome drinks, a welcome dinner, Porto bus sightseeing, a Douro river cruise, and a gala dinner with live Portuguese traditional music.

Submissions are open at www.conftool.com/faim2023 until mid December, 2022, and full papers should be submitted until early February, 2023.

Six invited speakers are already confirmed, with a mix between academia and industry, covering important issues such as advanced materials, robotics, logistics, Lean Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0. Four awards will be distributed to the best presented works. Do not miss this opportunity to disseminate your best results in an in-person conference with significant attendance, allowing you to increase your network.
