Dear Colleagues,
You are cordially invited to publish original scientific articles describing the results of research works or review articles in a Special Issue entitled “Mechanical Alloying and Heat Treatment”. Mechanical alloying is a promising method for the synthesis and production of a wide variety of materials with homogeneous structures and desired properties. MA enables the formation of solid solutions, intermetallic phases, or nanocrystalline or amorphous materials with unique physical, chemical, and mechanical properties.
The submitted works may therefore concern both innovative engineering materials with modification of their structure and physico-chemical properties, as well as original technological modifications used in the methodology of mechanical alloying, with particular emphasis on heat treatment. You can also focus on the development of new technological solutions and mathematical models which will be helpful in formulating new conclusions.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Materials is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
