About Literature

Aims

Literature (ISSN 2410-9789) provides an advanced forum for studies related to the literature of all times and places. It publishes reviews, regular research papers, and short communications as well as Special Issues on particular subjects

The aim of Literature is to encourage researchers to publish their innovative ideas and results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, the journal has no restrictions regarding the length of papers. Each paper must critically engage with the relevant and up-to-date secondary literature on the topic being addressed. We do not advocate for any political or religious ideology, and our aim is to maintain objectivity in our publications.

The recommended structure of each paper is the traditional McKerrow sequence (Oxford R.E.S.):

  • An “Introduction” in which the author briefly states the present position of research on his/her subject and the views currently held on it;
  • The Proposal in which s/he describes briefly what s/he hopes to prove;
  • The Boost, in which s/he briefly explains the significance of this essay not only for our understanding of the specific subject upon which it is focused but also for subjects of more general interest to the readers of Literature;
  • The Demonstration in which s/he sets forth the discovery or argument in a concise, orderly fashion;
  • The Conclusion in which s/he briefly summarizes what s/he has shown (if needed), and suggests its implications for wider fields of knowledge.
