About Kinases and Phosphatases

Kinases and Phosphatases (ISSN 2813-3757) is an international open access journal. Our aim is to provide a publishing platform to shed light on the molecular and biological processes regarding protein phosphorylation as well as any other post-translational modifications (PTMs) from prokaryotes to humans.

We are interested in the following topics: structural studies of kinases and phosphatases as well as other writer and eraser enzymes involved in the addition or removal of any PTMs with the aim of elucidating their catalytic mechanism and cellular regulation; omics approaches for in vitro/in vivo PTM identification; PTM signaling; PTM crosstalk; synthesis, in vitro evaluation, and preclinical and clinical development of drugs affecting PTMs. Particular emphasis will be placed on research studies that elucidate the role of the PTMs in human diseases by identifying new molecular targets and therapeutic strategies.

We encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of either papers or figures/tables. The full experimental details must be provided so that results can be reproduced. We also encourage the publication of timely reviews and commentaries on hot topics of interest to the scientific community.

Manuscript categories: original scientific research articles, comprehensive reviews, communications, case reports, letters, commentaries, editorials, etc.
