Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Personalized medicine is the practice of tailoring medical treatment to the individual characteristics of each patient. Personalized medicine includes identifying patients most likely to benefit and those most likely to experience adverse reactions in response to a drug or therapy, and also tailoring therapy based on pharmacokinetics or pharmacodynamic response.
This Special Issue of the Journal of Personalized Medicine will highlight the current state of the art and showcase some of the latest findings in the field of percutaneous coronary intervention. This involves the evaluation of coronary function, including quantitative flow ratio, fractional flow reserves, etc., procedural guidance with intravascular ultrasound imaging, and optical coherence tomography, the treatment of left main or multivessel or bifurcation coronary artery disease, the use of drug-coated balloon and bioabsorbable stent, hemodynamic support devices for high-risk PCI, risk scoring systems for outcomes in PCI, antithrombotic therapy, as well as research on antithrombotic therapy.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Journal of Personalized Medicine is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2600 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
