Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Emerging technologies and newly developed procedures employed in the correction and/or restoration of spinal disorders require that we continuously update our international knowledge base regarding novel therapies and approaches that may enhance our collective understanding of the correction and/or restoration of spinal deformities and disorders. Moving forward, modalities that improve spine function must be personalized to address individual functional needs and tailored for sustainable surgical and/or non-operative spinal outcomes.

Increasing the bandwidth and diagnosis-specific granularity of spinal care requires a platform to foster genuine interest via effective, expert evidence-based and practicable experience. The aim and scope of this Special Issue is therefore to drive innovation in the advancement of real-world solutions for spinal disorders.

Disruptive and cutting-edge research in the basic sciences related to the spine, implant design, and/or techniques that spark creative interchange among spinal surgeons and scientists are solicited for this Special Issue. Adherence to the highest scientific and ethical standards within both the regenerative and restorative spinal work submitted is a minimum prerequisite expectation.
