Life Stage Specific Medicine (LSSM)

A section of Journal of Personalized Medicine (ISSN 2075-4426).

Section Information

Aim

Understanding the mechanism of genetic and environmental interaction and its consequence during the translation of different life stages is essential for the extension of human lifespan. This section focusses on the publications reporting what impact the interaction of genetics and environment factors has on different life stages and how these different life stages impact disease development, treatment and lifespan.

Scope

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the interactions of genomic, genetic and genotype factors with environment factors that affect the length of different life stages and extension of lifespan, including (but not limited to) the following:

  • Disease development and different life stages;
  • Response to disease treatment during different life stages.
  • Hormone levels in different life stage and their impact on disease development;
  • Hormone levels in different life stage and impact on disease treatment;
  • Immune system at different life stage and relation to disease development;
  • Immune system at different life stage and relation to response to drug and disease treatment;
  • Changes of hormone levels and immune statements during translations of life stages;
  • How the length of life stages affects the total lifespan of humans;
  • Animal studies on the principal law of lifespan (PLOSP);
  • Clinical practice based on the PLOSP;
  • Clinical trials based on PLOSP;
  • Drug development based on PLOSP;
  • Racial and sex differences on life stages and lifespan.
