Physical Oceanography
A section of Journal of Marine Science and Engineering (ISSN 2077-1312).
Section Information
The Section Physical Oceanography within the Journal of Marine Science and Engineering welcomes research articles, review articles, and case studies which make original and valued contributions in subjects related to physical conditions and processes within the ocean and operating at its boundaries, especially the motions and physical properties of ocean waters. Contributions may include topics in descriptive and dynamical physical oceanography and can be focused on deep ocean and broader scales through to shallow waters and local scales, including coastal zones and estuarine systems. Theoretical, observational (in situ or remote sensing monitoring) and modelling studies are all welcome, especially those that focus on elucidating specific physical processes and its contribution to understand the ocean dynamics.
