Dear Colleagues,
Today, the minimally invasive approach constitutes the standard of care for several cancers and the emerging approach for more complex procedures in oncologic surgeries. Less aggression for oncologic patients could translate in a better recovery of them, with a shorter time to systemic treatment. Based on this, the aim of this issue is to collect the latest advances in minimally aggressive surgical approaches for patients with malignant diseases. We will describe the most recent milestones for laparoscopic surgery, including different cancer sites and specialties.
