Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Chronic disease is a persistent or long-term health condition or disease, representing one of the main causes of human death and disability. Although there are various interventions aimed at promoting the health of people with chronic diseases, pharmacological treatment is still the cornerstone and an important part of chronic disease research. With the strengthening of people's understanding of chronic diseases and progress within clinical pharmacological research, pharmacological treatment technology for chronic diseases is constantly developing.

This Special Issue aims to collate up-to-date research on pharmacological treatment for chronic diseases, from the acute phase to the maintenance and rehabilitation phases. We welcome reviews and original research papers from basic and clinical research, covering all branches of chronic disease pharmacotherapy.

Prof. Dr. Oscar Herrera-Calderon
Guest Editor
