Dear Colleagues,
Gynecological diseases can have a significant influence on patients’ quality of life. Epidemiological studies have shown that the prevalence of gynecological disease differs in particular age ranges. Moreover, there is still a need to introduce proper prophylaxis, diagnostics, and therapy of gynecological diseases in female patients as early as possible to prevent serious conditions. This Special Issue invites authors to contribute original research and review articles that will encourage progress in the efforts to understand the pathophysiological mechanisms, leading to the development of different benign and malignant gynecological diseases in women, the impact of these symptoms on the quality of life, and the therapeutic options available for patients.
