Water Science and Technology
A section of International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (ISSN 1660-4601).
Section Information
Water science studies contribute to solving water challenges by producing valuable analytical insights that ensure water security, protect the water environment, and engage water management. Furthermore, applying and developing water engineering techniques and knowledge to solve water issues such as water security, water pollution, water quality protection, water reuse, aquatic ecology restoration, and so on is crucial. The Section of Water Science and Technology covers new concepts, theories, methods, and techniques related to water issues.
The Section aims to publish research that helps to advance the theoretical and practical understanding of water security, water resources, the aquatic environment, aquatic ecology, water engineering, and water management, with emphasis placed on the innovation and applicability of science and technology in hydrology and water resources, the water cycle process, sustainable utilization of water resources, water environment protection, treatment processes for water and wastewaters, ecological restoration, large-scale hydropower project construction, river and lake regulation, inter-basin water transfer, the development of new materials in water engineering, and so on.
