Chemoenvironment

A section of International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (ISSN 1660-4601).

Section Information

The Section entitled “Chemoenvironment” contributes to solving chemical challenges to the environment through the application and development of novel environmental engineering techniques and knowledge. Accordingly, environmental engineering approaches to solutions are fundamental to avoiding the effect of chemicals on the environment, maintaining healthy environmental systems, and reducing public health hazards. This Section covers new concepts, theories, methods, and techniques related to contamination control, treatment, and prevention for the exposure reduction of hazardous chemicals.

The Section aims to publish manuscripts that focus on the effect of chemicals on the environment and the control of chemicals in the environment. The section offers maximum dissemination of investigations related to analysis, behavior, fate, and alteration of organic and inorganic pollutants in environmental media such as water, air, and soil. Topics on chemical wastewater treatment, chemical waste gas treatment, chemical solid waste treatment, and remediation of soils polluted by chemicals are also included in this section.
