Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

For this Special Issue on “Reviews in Propagation and Seeds”, high-quality mini-reviews and reviews on specific topics are welcome. The goal of this SI is to highlight, through selected works, new approaches on the propagation of selected horticultural crops by seeds and specialized organs. Horticultural crops are mostly reproduced by asexual methods of plant propagations to multiply their exact copy of selected clonal varieties even if the sexual propagation method has also been practiced for different plants. This can be done naturally for those plants which are propagating by specialized organs or by human intervention for targeted propagation purposes. In recent years, many advances on horticultural crop propagation have been achieved, and associated breeding research has been undergoing fundamental changes to improve crop plants due to the emergence of new techniques. We encourage researchers and experts to submit high-quality mini-reviews or reviews related to the abovementioned topics to this SI, which may include basic and applied studies.
