Section Information

The Viticulture Section publishes original manuscripts of diverse types related to the production of wine, table and dried grapes and aims to enhances the knowledge in this field. Publications will highlight advances in the cultivation of Vitis vinifera L., other Vitis spp., and hybrid grape cultivars, including issues related to breeding, grapevine physiology, berry ripening, vineyard management and strategies for adaptation to climate change. Specific topics for this Section may include precision viticulture and the mechanization of vineyard management.

We intend to publish high-quality papers related to Viticulture, which may include basic and applied studies. Full experimental and methodological details must be provided for research articles.

In particular, we welcome contributions by early career researchers. We also invite senior scientists to serve as Guest Editors of new Special Issues on a single and particular theme of significant and/or growing importance.
