Protected Culture
A section of Horticulturae (ISSN 2311-7524).
Section Information
The Protected Culture Section publishes original manuscripts of diverse types related to horticulture under cover. Greenhouse design, climate control, light spectrum, energy efficiency, crop production, and crop management systems in a protected environment in rural and urban areas, either in soil or soilless culture, in horizontal or vertical farming are some of the topics offered for publication.
We welcome high quality novel original manuscripts related to protected cultivation, which may include basic and applied studies. Full experimental and methodological details must be provided for research articles.
In particular, Protected Culture welcomes contributions by early career researchers and propositions for research topics. In addition, we invite senior scientists to initiate and serve as Guest Editors of new Special Issues on a single and particular theme in protected cultivation for any horticultural crop.
