About Histories

Aims

Histories (ISSN 2409-9252) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, and scientific open-access and open-source journal that covers topics on inquiry of change and continuity of human societies (on various scales and with different approaches, including environmental, social and technological studies). It publishes reviews, individual research papers, communications, and there is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers.

The Journal of Histories facilitates a global scholarly debate on a wide array of humans’ stories which have evolved over the centuries and continue to change today. All elements of historical investigation that combine empirical research with conceptual work, undertake comparisons across time and distance, or contribute to the development of quantitative or qualitative methods of analysis are welcomed.
