The "Heat and Mass Transfer" section of the peer-reviewed open access journal Fluids, is focused on free, mixed and forced convective flows of fluids. It will publish novel, original, peer-reviewed research manuscripts, short communications and topical reviews in all areas of heat and mass transfer. These will include analytical, computational and experimental works.
This section invites contributions that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Innovative numerical methods for heat and mass transfer
- Innovative experimental techniques for heat and mass transfer
- Laminar and turbulent convection
- Free, mixed and natural convection processes
- Convective instabilities
- Combustion
- Convection in porous media
