2016 The inaugural issue was released. Fluids was published as a quarterly journal.
2017 Fluids was indexed in Chemical Abstracts (CAS), INSPEC (IET), and Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) - Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics).
2018 Fluids was indexed in Scopus.
Fluids announced the first edition of the Travel Award.
2019 Fluids received its first CiteScore (Scopus) of 1.8, ranked 41/83 in "Fluid Flow and Transfer Processes".
Fluids became an affiliated journal of The Portuguese Society of Rheology (SPR).
Fluids announced the first edition of the Best Paper Award, and second edition of Travel Awards.
2020 Fluids announced the second edition of the Best Paper Award.
2021 Fluids adopted a monthly publication schedule.
