Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Diversity is an international and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed scientific journal that is concerned with biodiversity concepts and applications, biodiversity assessment, and biodiversity preservation. Considering the growing interest in the symbionts of insects, the journal will publish a Special Issue that is dedicated to the roles played by symbiotic microorganisms and insects. The scope of this Special Issue includes, but is not limited to, the following areas of interest: systematics, the taxonomy and phylogeny of symbiotic microorganisms in the insect and its environment, the functional diversity of symbiotic microorganisms, invasive insects and their symbiotic microorganism's diversity, and the evolution and conservation of the diversity of insects’ symbiotic microorganisms. We cordially invite you to submit an original research paper to this Special Issue.
