Plant Diversity
A section of Diversity (ISSN 1424-2818).
Section Information
The Plant Diversity section deals with all topics concerning plant diversity, from the evaluation of plant diversity (at the three levels: morphological, biochemical, and molecular) to its conservation (in situ and/or ex situ); aspects of population genetics and genotype by environmental interaction from evolution to phylogeny, adaptation, from the species up to community interactions with ecosystems, not excluding plant breeding aspects related to plant diversity. Experimental and field case studies are favored, but also theoretical studies will be considered if dealing with original approaches to evaluate plant diversity. Original review articles will be also considered if reporting an updated overview of the current state of understanding in plant diversity and its evaluation or on methodologies used in the frame of plant diversity topics.
