Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Endocrinology covers a significant number of disorders with different levels of statistical evidence, from disorders with a massive epidemiological impact such as thyroid nodules or postmenopausal osteoporosis to conditions, for which the level of evidence has increased due to case reports/series. This is especially true amid COVID-19 pandemic and recent progress in high-performance imaging techniques or molecular genetics.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Different topics in endocrinology and connected multidisciplinary domains that may be approached on a larger scale with a high level of statistical evidence;
- Subjects in endocrinology with a very narrow window of statistical evidence;
- Current controversies in endocrinology;
- A re-consideration of endocrine disorders based on the 2022 WHO classification.
We look forward to receiving your submissions.
