Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to announce a Special Issue of Children, entitled "Highlights in Paediatric Emergency Care".

Paediatric emergencies are characteristically sudden in onset and are often complicated by rapid deterioration. The immediate objective, as with any age group, is to preserve life. As the field of paediatric emergency medicine has evolved, updated guidelines and cutting-edge therapies support a tailored management for the better care of emergencies in paediatric nephrology, cardiology, hematooncology, pneumology, or gastroenterology.

We invite investigators to contribute original research articles, review articles, or case reports that will improve our understanding in the challenging field of paediatric emergency care.

Prof. Dr. Mihaela Bǎlgrǎdean
Dr. Elena Camelia Berghea
Dr. Magdalena Budisteanu

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
