Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Orofacial clefts are the most common alterations among craniofacial malformations and are among the most prevalent congenital defects at birth. Morphologically, clefts affect different facial structures, and may also present other associated alterations. The occurrence of this condition can potentially have an impact on different stages of children's development, requiring multidisciplinary action in the rehabilitation process of these children. This Special Issue of the journal Children entitled "Advances in Pediatric Orofacial Clefts" intends to bring together manuscripts from the most diverse areas of knowledge discussing the state-of-the-art of advances in the approach and treatment of orofacial clefts during childhood.
