About Challenges

Aims

Challenges ISSN (2078-1547) provides an advanced forum for studies related to topics such as planetary health and the environment, sustainability, human health, education, planning and development, public health, working culture and organization, technology theoretical and physical sciences, etc., and is ultimately aimed at improving all aspects of life on our planet. To promote interdisciplinary discourse, we encourage all submissions to Challenges, regardless of discipline, profession, or perspective, to articulate the ways in which their submission is relevant to some (or preferably, many) of the grand challenges of our time, and/or ways in which the work could contribute to planetary health and/or the sustainable development goals (SDG).

Challenges publishes scholarly content including high-quality reviews, regular research papers, and communications case/project reports, as well as Special Issues on particular subjects and publications typically not found in traditional research journals, such as research proposals, policy studies, descriptions of prototypes, creative and artistic perspectives on these topics, and open contests aimed at solving grand challenges.

The aim of Challenges is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, the journal has no restrictions regarding the length of papers. Full experimental details should be provided so that the results can be reproduced. It is our hope that Challenges will facilitate collaborative vision and shared agendas aimed at solving the interconnected challenges of our time.

We welcome manuscripts that seek to address challenges to the health of people, places, and planet, including but not limited to:

• Planning and Development.
