3–7 July 2023, Congress Center of the Novosibirsk Academpark, Novosibirsk, Russia
Eighth Asian Symposium on Advanced Materials (ASAM-8)

Dear Respected Academics and Researchers,

It is our great pleasure to revive the Asian Symposium on Advanced Materials, which was successfully started in 2007 in Vladivostok (Russia), and then continued in China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and Vietnam. Our intention is to include high-quality research and leading scientists and create a friendly atmosphere. Since its beginning, the symposium has attracted a large number of participants from many Asian countries. The success of the symposium is due to the increasing interest of the scientific community in the science of materials, as well as in their practical application in different areas. The symposium traditionally attracts specialists in the fundamental science of materials, energy, ecology and environmental science, engineering, and biomedicine, and other. Therefore, the symposium provides a platform for extensive interdisciplinary discussion between scientists and engineers from Asian universities, academic institutes and industry. The program will include plenary (45 min.), keynote (35 min.), and invited (25 min.) lectures and oral (15 min.) and poster presentations within the following three sessions:

I. Synthesis and Structure of Advanced Materials:
  • Porous, 2D and 3D Nanomaterials;
  • Nanocomposite Materials;
  • Nanostructured Catalysts, Adsorbents and Ceramics;
  • Carbon Nanomaterials and Hybrids;
  • Green Chemistry.
II. Biomaterials and Bionanocomposites:
  • Biocompatible and Biodegradable Materials;
  • Materials for Biomedical Engineering;
  • Materials for Drug Delivery.
III. Applications:
  • Energy;
  • Catalytic Technologies;
  • Optoelectronics;
  • Sensors and Biosensors;
  • Biomedicine;
  • Environment and Sustainable Development.

Best regards,
ASAM-8 Organizing Committee
