Molecular Genetics
A section of Biomolecules (ISSN 2218-273X).
Section Information
The Molecular Genetics Section of the open access journal, Biomolecules (ISSN 2218-273X), publishes papers in all areas related to the experimental study of genes and genomes. This includes research with any model organism, from microorganism to plants and animals, as well as human studies. The reported findings should provide novel and substantial insight into relevant biological processes. We invite review and original research articles that include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
- Chromosome biology;
- Epigenetics;
- Gene editing and genetic variants;
- Gene regulation and transcriptomics;
- Genetic assays and methods;
- Genetic screens and gene-function analyses;
- Genome function and evolution;
- Genotype-phenotype relationships;
- Medical genetics and disease biology;
- Molecular evolution;
- Non-coding RNAs;
- Population genetics and complex traits;
- Synthetic biology.
