Dear Colleagues,
The journal Bioengineering would like to compile a collection of papers to report on advancements in the field of AI for children’s diseases. The aim is to provide personalized tele-rehabilitation programs at home in children with developmental disorders, elaborating new clinical and technological approaches for the diagnosis and treatment of infants and children with motor developmental disorders and on the personalization of exercises in tele-rehabilitation training.
The aim of this Special Issue, entitled “Recent Advances in the Application of AI for Children’s Diseases”, is to make relevant work known to our colleagues in the field. To achieve this, the Special Issue, edited by Professor Giuseppina Sgandurra and Professor Giuseppe Prencipe, invites scientists to submit research articles, review articles, and short communications focused on this topic.
We look forward to your valuable contributions to make this Special Issue a reference resource for future researchers in the field of AI for children’s diseases.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Bioengineering is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
