Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

With the rapid development of infinite communication technology, people’s requirements are increasingly higher for communication and radar systems, and traditional antenna design cannot meet the needs. Therefore, the design and performance optimization of multi-band/broadband antennas has become a hot topic.

Broadband antenna is an antenna capable of transmitting signals over a wider range of frequency bands. The main feature points are its frequency band width, that is, it can achieve a large degree of signal transmission. Compared with narrowband antenna, wideband antenna can not only improve the width of transmission but also improve the quality and stability of signal and improve the efficiency of communication. A multiband antenna is a device designed to transmit and receive frequencies via several bands or frequency channels which are selected electronically.

This Special Issue will explore the involvement, optimization, and measurement of multiband/wideband antennas, including, but not limited to, the following topics:

  • Broadband antenna;
  • Antenna design and optimization;
  • Antenna measurement;
  • multiband antenna;
  • Mobile multi-band antennas;
  • Antenna arrays;
  • Wireless communication;
  • Electromagnetics;
  • Broadband and circularly polarized antennas.
