About Applied Nano

Aims

Applied Nano (ISSN 2673-3501) is an international and interdisciplinary open access journal devoted to publish original works (reviews, regular research papers and communications) in any field of study involving the application of nanoscience and nanotechnology. It will thus include papers owing to a wide range of areas, covering chemistry, physics, materials science, biosciences, medicine, environmental and water sciences, energy storage and conversion, electronics, to make a few relevant examples.

Scope

As nanomaterials are proving each day more to be able to offer solutions to an increasingly wide range of different questions, we will give a particular emphasis to exploitation of nanosized objects and nanostructures addressing particular needs and/or devoted to resolution of specific problems. Thus, works that synthesize information suggesting practical usage or showing useful applications will be preferred.

MDPI Publication Ethics Statement

MDPI is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). MDPI takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications.
