Feature papers represent the most advanced research with significant potential for high impact in the field. A Feature Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.
In April 2018, MDPI and the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) signed a partnership for the publication of the World Electric Vehicle Journal, the first peer-reviewed international scientific journal that comprehensively covers all studies related to battery, hybrid, and fuel cell electric vehicles.
WEVJ is the official journal of the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) and its member societies: the European Association for e-Mobility (AVERE), the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA), and the Electric Vehicle Association of Asia Pacific (EVAAP). The journal is in its 9th volume this year and has been managed by the World Electric Vehicle Association for the last 10 years, with support from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
By choosing MDPI to publish WEVJ, the society aims to professionalize and further develop the journal and establish it as the reference journal in the field. The journal accepts papers from the academic world, research centres, NGOs, public authorities and industry.
