We aim to explore whether recipients of the Indonesia Customer Experience Champions 2022 as Best of The Best Customer Experience Team prize use chatbots effectively to improve their customer experience. Using a qualitative method, we explore their programs related to customer experience, along with the information regarding their chatbots. Then, we directly use two chatbots to gather our personal experience. We found that only four of eight winners use chatbots. Next, from our personal experience, the two chatbots are not yet functioning optimally because of some inaccurate or unclear information. This can lower the level of customer experience. Therefore, companies need to improve the quality of their chatbots. Full article

Virtual reality is a fun training tool to increase elderly patient motivation to continue the fall prevention program. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of virtual reality exercise to reduce the risk of falling in the elderly with balance disorders. PUBMED, Ebscohost and Proquest were sought for articles involving the elderly aged over 64 years with balance disorders trained with virtual reality. JBI Critical Appraisal and Data Extraction Form for Experimental Studies were used for evaluation and extraction. Data synthesis was carried out using a simplified approach. Decrease in the risk of falling and improvement balance in the elderly were found after 8 weeks of virtual reality exercise with an intensity of 30–60 min, 3 times a week. Decreases in muscle strength, postural stability, quality of life, personality changes, and depression were the most identified factors. Full article

This study aimed to determine the determinants of seeking information related to COVID-19 vaccination by Generation Z through the use of social media. This study used a cross-sectional design. The total sample was 588. Data collection was carried out in July 2021 and analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results showed a significant relationship between gender and the type of social media; education level with a duration of social media; gender and basic information about vaccines; gender and information about the side effects and safety of vaccines; gender and reinvestigation of vaccine information; gender and ability to recognize hoaxes on social media. Gender has a more significant relationship than education level in using social media as a source of information on COVID-19 vaccines. Full article

This study aims to analyze the sentiments of Halodoc users after the COVID-19 pandemic declined. This study uses a mixed method approach, preceded by quantitative research, to see user satisfaction from the rating. Qualitative research from Halodoc google play reviews from June to August 2022 of 1129 users. A total of 74.8% of users rated positive, 5% moderately positive, 2.6% neutral, 2.2% slightly negative, and 15.5% negative. Aspects that need attention from Halodoc to improve its implementation are improving service quality, adding payment methods and refunds, adding a network of health service facilities, and improving systems. This study aims to describe students’ understanding of the function of the student record and PDDikti. Student records and PDDikti are instruments used to record student activities during their study and after graduation. Forlap Dikti is a reference for scholarships, research, and student level competitions in Indonesia. This research uses questionnaires distributed to more than 300 students from the records and archives management program to collect data. The results of this study provide an overview of students’ understanding of the function of PDDikti, including student records as vital evidence and awareness regarding the importance of student record management in higher education. From 1 January 2024, the Indonesian government will require all parties administering the administration to use a 16-digit National Identity Number (NIK) and Tax Identification Number (NPWP). The purpose of this paper is to gather the challenges and difficulties encountered by the Indonesian Government in implementing the system. Given that digital identity has been applied in stages until now, digital e-KTP has been in the trial phase in 58 districts/cities since 2021. The desk research method is used in this study, which is supplemented by qualitative interviews. The findings of this study are expected to help the government improve the implementation of the single identification number based on the theory of equity, certainty, tax compliance, and tax evasion. The rapid development of technology and globalization has provided significant business opportunities for digital companies. Digitization has led to changes in traditional structures, where businesses typically have a physical presence and are taxed in jurisdictions where businesses have a real presence. Several countries have made and established regulations on the tax treatment of trade transactions through digital systems. However, there are still pros and cons among the countries concerned. This study uses a qualitative approach to analyze the development of Digital Services Tax regulations in several European countries, including the earliest to make regulations on digital services taxes. The development of regulations in these countries is expected to be a reference for the application of digital services tax in Indonesia. The analysis results show the need for a Digital Service Tax (DST) to be imposed on entities that provide digital services on a specific basis, other than in the form of VAT. DST must consider the applicable international taxation regulations to avoid double taxation. Appropriate strategies and steps are needed to improve voluntary tax compliance. Finally, the government should set a provisional rate for digital taxes in Indonesia until a global consensus is reached. Full article

Public communication channels and digital broadcasting media are increasingly diverse, one of which is podcasts. In addition to being relatively new, podcast content is increasingly in demand, especially since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Public relations departments at government institutions began to use podcasts as a new medium for disseminating information and public communication then. This study explores the trend of using podcasts. Meanwhile, research on podcasts, especially on their use in government institutions, is still very limited. This research, using a descriptive method, seeks to contribute to the development and optimization of podcasts in government institutions. The results show that podcasts play an important role as a public communication channel and digital broadcasting medium. This research is expected to be helpful for government public relations and researchers in the podcast sector interested in optimizing their use in government sectors. Full article

This paper aims to describe the characteristics and digital behaviours of Millennial and Gen Z as event attendees. It also aims to examine the determinants of the two generations’ satisfaction by analysing their relationship with their perceived event quality. The results of regression analysis on 236 participants indicated that event program and event facility were crucial predictors of participants’ level of satisfaction with the event. The originality of this paper lies in the context of the research, where it contributes to assisting event tourism planners manage and design events by considering the views of young generations today. Asia is presently undergoing the fourth industrial revolution, which emphasizes digitization and technical innovation, and is primarily regarded as a vital region for global economic growth. Consequently, new jobs need to be designed, and new abilities and skills need to be upgraded to keep pace with emerging technological advances. The fundamental challenge is building the right competencies for significant shifts in the labor market that will impact future job opportunities as well as adapting to and striving to meet the changing needs of the workplace and society. This is performed by searching for references to competencies in the literature. This study aims to identify a set of future business competencies based on the literature. This study found a total of 24 competencies and classified competencies into four categories: technical, methodological, social, and personal. Full article

Achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) changes many aspects of environmental, socio-cultural, and economic dimensions. Therefore, industry–government–university synergy is a mandatory action to accomplish the 2030 agenda, and, undebatably, vocational education also has a prominent role. This study’s purpose is to investigate the cognition and behavior of lecturers toward SDGs in daily life, leading to a potential contribution to student awareness of global issues. Lecturers who have solid interaction with their students were selected as part of Indonesia’s Tri Dharma of higher education. A qualitative study with in-depth semi-structured interviews was conducted with a total of six lecturers from three different universities, and the next step, data analysis, was coded by MAXQDA 2020. The outcomes indicate that all lecturers have a general understanding of sustainable development goals. The fourth item (Quality Education) is the most mentioned for cognition and behavior, followed by Responsible Consumption and Production in the second position. Each person has a priority item for applying SDGs to their life as a consequence of their experience, point of view, and interest. The student is the main prospect to make a better world if we look at big picture. Full article

This article aims to give a contribution of digital literacy on the development of local destination tourism and its role in achieving economic resilience. Many business entities were impacted in the pandemic situation, where the economic entities agreed to tightened regulations related to maintaining the wellbeing of the community. Fortunately, era 4.0 and society 5.0 marked various aspects in societal daily activities with digitalization. Great expectations have been placed on tourism for economic resilience, with digitalization giving an opportunity to business entities to sustain themselves by doing online business. This article answers the questions through the qualitative method and descriptive analysis approach to analyze those responding to this study. This study revealed the digital literacy of the community maintained business entities during the COVID-19 pandemic, and key success factors were the moderate level of the digital literacy of human resources. The Directorate General of Taxes submits the provisions of the new rules regarding tax invoices in accordance with the Director General of Taxes Number PER-03/PJ/2022. This study discusses the analysis of e-Faktur upload time restrictions in terms of the ease of administration principle. The data collection techniques used in this research are literature study and in-depth interviews. The result of the research is that the implementation of the e-Faktur upload time limitation policy still does not meet the ease of administration criteria. Certainty dimension has not been fulfilled because the e-Faktur upload time limitation policy does not have clear provisions regarding the procedures for the solution for late taxpayers to upload their e-Faktur. From the Convenience dimension, the limitation of time for uploading the e-Faktur adds criteria that allow the e-Faktur to be approved by the Directorate General of Taxes. Full article

Insurance agents offer insurance products to prospective insureds and then submit a Life Insurance Application Letter (SPAJ). The issuance of this SPAJ is done offline. During the pandemic, this process was also carried out online. Our research questions thus arise about whether there are differences in the policy issuance processes of the two approaches. Our aim is to compare the process of issuing policies online and offline. Although the data show that the process of issuing policies is increasingly being conducted online, the results of mean different tests show that there is no significant difference between the offline and online processes. To maximize the opportunities for the small–medium scale ruminant feed industry, it is necessary to manage production planning properly, so efficiency and effectiveness are achieved by making excellent and safe feed products at the lowest cost. This study models integrating production planning with feed formulations, both with the ability to supply materials and demand for feed products that consider variations in the source of feed raw materials. The research used a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) planning model, and the output produced a mathematical model of production planning that is relevant to the planning period horizon. The model helped make optimal decisions as to what and how much to produce and then save in a monthly period. Then it determined what and how many products are currently produced. The results showed that by using an optimization model developed with existing parameters in the cooperative, it was determinable that during the production planning period in January 2022, the dairy cattle concentrate was around 300 tons, which was distributed to agent 1 as much as 70% and to agent 2 as much as 30%. Beef cattle concentrate was 350 tons, which was distributed to agent 1 as much as 65% and to agent 2 as much as 35%, with a total profit of IDR Rp.348 million. Sensitivity analysis shows that a 10–30% change in product prices would affect the amount of beef concentrate production but would not change the production of dairy cattle concentrate. Full article

A sustainable ocean economy is achieved by improving economic, environmental, and social performance. Unfortunately, Indonesia’s marine and coastal ecosystems are threatened by overfishing, mangroves and coral reefs, and marine debris degradation. Thus, this research analyses the blue ocean business model in one of the coastal areas of Java, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. Through SWOT Analysis, this study found that the blue economy business model does not stop at the use of the sea for economic prosperity, but also includes how to manage marine products from upstream to downstream continuously, known as a circular economy. Tourism plays a very important role in the economic growth of Bogor City. One form of development and promotion of Bogor City tourism involves the use of the Calendar of Events 2022. This study aimed to evaluate the tourism promotion strategy of Bogor City through the Calendar of Events. This study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies, observations, and interviews. Shoulder stiffness (SS) is a condition describing a limited ROM in the glenohumeral joint. SS can arise spontaneously (primary or idiopathic SS, also known as “frozen shoulder”) or due to known causes, including surgical procedures on the shoulder (secondary or post-operative SS). Ultrasound is one of the physiotherapy modalities for treating musculoskeletal cases; a combination of ultrasound and stretching exercises is expected to increase ROM and reduce pain in the shoulder so that patients can move optimally. The clinical question therefore arises: “do ultrasound and stretching increase the ability to raise hands in shoulder stiffness dextra cases?”. To answer this question, evidence was searched for in five databases: PubMed, Science Direct, ProQuest, Cochrane Library, and SpringerLink. The keywords used were: Ultrasound Therapy AND Stretching AND Shoulder Stiffness AND Fracture. The search identified 3898 articles, of which 636 articles met the inclusion criteria. Then, after reading the articles, 68 articles (comprising 25 articles in PubMed, 16 in Science Direct, 20 in ProQuest, 0 in the Cochrane Library, and 7 in SpringerLink) were selected. Ultrasound and stretching were administered and four evaluations of pain in the shoulder and the limitations of range of motion (ROM) were performed. Home programs, such as stretching, to make the exercise more effective were evaluated. After four evaluations, positive results were obtained on the pain scale, reducing SPADI after using ultrasound interventions and increasing ROM and decreasing disability scale (SPADI) after stretching exercise. Many factors trigger depression in the elderly; therefore, the role of biopsychosocial factors is considered a holistic study that is interrelated. We examined the relationship between sex, marital status, attachment, affect, religiosity, and social support with depression in the elderly using data from the Indonesian Family Life Survey wave 5 (n = 2.605). The results of the multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression showed that mood and social support were significantly related with depression in the elderly. Elderly individuals, with a tendency for negative moods are 1.122 times at risk of becoming depressed, and the elderly who lack social support are 0.763 times at risk of becoming depressed. From a policy perspective, these results call for important attention to social support in the community for the maintenance of mental health of the elderly. Full article

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the world to adapt to Internet-based technology. With the many obstacles that occur in the economic field, the affected people in Indonesia refuse to give up on the situation. Indonesian MSMEs have survived, and even grown, during the COVID-19 period. They carry out various public relations (PR) activities with their target consumers on social media. This research conducted an in-depth review of the various strategies and tactics of social media public relations activities used for the resilience of Indonesian MSMEs. This research uses the qualitative method, with data collected by interviews with well-established MSME owners. In the business landscape, the consequences of the pandemic may be particularly negative to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) because they often have insufficient financial and human resources to tackle the issues presented by COVID-19. MSMEs could embrace mass cooperation through social media for knowledge development and innovation to acquire resiliency. The unique and various social media strategies are described, which can be a guide for any MSME that wants to engage more with their stakeholders on social media. Full article

Chatbots are increasingly being used as a representative agent for big companies as their implementation opens up promising opportunities to improve customer service. The present paper examines chatbots in this context, elaborating on their impacts in service quality. The purpose of this research is to understand the form of implementation of an artificial intelligence chatbot in the field of customer service in PT. FinAccel Finance Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative method is used in this research by collecting data through interviews and literature studies. This study uses SWOT analysis (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) as a strategy planning technique and problem solving that emphasizes the importance of the role of internal and external factors. During Q1 2021, Samsung Indonesia produced a great deal of advertising for their mobile phones from the middle segment to the premium segment. As a leading technology company in Indonesia with a high level of trust in society, Samsung always tries to reach its audience through many advertising media with different functions and goals. Focusing on the production of advertisements using Through the Line (TTL) media, this research was conducted to find out in detail the advertising strategy of Samsung Galaxy series mobile phones in marketing activities that play a strong role in maintaining the brand image of Samsung Indonesia. The study used a descriptive study design with a qualitative approach. The location was at TBWA\, a full-service advertising agency, and the data collection techniques were systematic observations. The expected advertising strategy was to achieve campaign objectives as a bridge between the client and the internal team. The advertising technique focused on by Samsung’s advertising campaign was Through The Line (TTL) media; with this, Samsung is expected to reach a wider audience and gain greater exposure. This is said to be effective for the sustainability of the Samsung brand in maintaining their image as a technology brand with a large number of users in Indonesia. Full article

An outbreak of a novel form of pneumonia due to a coronavirus occurred in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, in December 2019, and the disease was officially named coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus which attacks the human respiratory system. In critical cases of COVID-19, special treatment is administered in the ICU using a mechanical ventilator. However, since the results are less than optimal, additional interventions such as orienting the patient in the prone position can be employed, as this can reduce the pressure on the dorsal lung area so that alveolar recruitment can be improved. This study examines the effect of the prone position on increasing pulmonary ventilation. This study is a literature review study employing a narrative method and was conducted by tracing and analyzing articles relevant to the topic. This literature review searched three databases, namely, PubMed, Google Scholar, and ProQuest using the keywords “COVID-19 OR intubated COVID-19” AND “prone position OR mechanical ventilator” AND “Lung ventilation”. From these databases, 1062 journals were found and filtered based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in the inclusion of 10 journals. Then, they were filtered again using a critical appraisal instrument called “JBI Critical Appraisal”, which was conducted by two people, N.P. and A.S.; consequently, the results of 5 journals were obtained for further analysis; cumulatively, these papers represented a total population of 1789 patients. It was concluded that the prone position can improve pulmonary ventilation by up to 50% and reduce the total length of stay by up to 5 days in the hospital, as long as the patients do not possess any comorbid diseases. Darlie Indonesia aims to expand their products by launching variants of toothbrushes. This paper will describe Darlie’s strategy to increase brand awareness for their new products using the AISAS approach (Awareness, Interest, Search, Action, and Share). Marketing messages were delivered via Darlie’s Instagram account using the main hashtag #SikatDarliePastiFit and these features were utilized and categorized into three content pillars. Moreover, Key Opinion Leader (KOL), Instagram account of partners, and news online websites were also deployed to boost the reach of the messages. The results show that Darlie’s Instagram engagement is quite high, and KOL insight also shows good results. However, quiz participants did not achieve the target, since the quiz required participants to jump the AISAS process, from awareness into action and share, in a short time. Full article

Hands-on activities are one of the characteristics of vocational learning. Learners will be triggered to activate their cognitive and psychomotor aspects with hands-on activities. These activities involve training sets to support students in understanding some specific vocational topics. The level of student understanding can be classified as the mastery of vocational-specific skills. Learners with minimum vocational skills can be grouped as beginners. However, beginner learning in vocational training is a considerable risk, and training sets have a high potential for damage. Electronic training sets are especially prone to voltage installation errors, resulting in fatal damage. Therefore, this study developed a relay-based short-circuit protection for the electronic training set. The development process consists of identification, designing, circuit processing, and circuit testing. This circuit was equipped with relay protection, a buzzer, and an LED short indicator. Drop-voltage was utilized during the short-circuit to activate relay protection. A Zener diode (3V3 and 5V6) was employed as a drop-voltage sensor and Op-Amp comparator. The test results reveal the circuit’s functionality to protect against short-circuits on 5 V and 12 V direct currents. The operating principle is that before the voltage hits zero (0), the relay will cut off the voltage line between the training circuit and the power supply. This reduces the risk of damage due to faulty circuits or misconnections. Full article

According to POJK No 51/POJK.03/2017, since January 2020, public companies are required to prepare a sustainability report (SR). This study aims to examine whether the quality of the sustainability report disclosure (SCR) has a significant association with firm value, and to examine SCR in a mandatory and voluntary context. This study uses a panel data regression method consisting of all publicly listed companies (nonfinancial companies) in Indonesia which published an SR in 2019 and 2020. The results show that there were differences in SCR in the voluntary period (2019) and the mandatory period (2020), and that SCR had a positive association with firm value. Full article

Hospitals use technology to support the marketing of their service products, including MCU services. This study aims to determine the relationship between brand awareness, social media marketing, and intention to use MCU services at Universitas Indonesia Hospital. The data were processed to perform univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there was a significant influence of brand awareness and social media marketing on interest in using MCU services. Hospitals need to build brand awareness by utilizing social media such as Instagram and other media to increase public interest in using their services. Full article

This research aimed to determine the effect of destination attributes on tourist loyalty in Pramuka Island, through tourist satisfaction as a mediating variable. This research used a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis. The collected data were obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 50 respondents who had visited Pramuka Island. The data analysis used simple linear regression. The research results showed that the destination attributes significantly influenced tourist satisfaction. Destination attributes and tourist satisfaction also significantly influenced tourist loyalty. Topics for further research are the standardization of marine tourism and the promotion of Pramuka Island. Full article

Dementia is a chronic and progressive condition where the sufferer experiences a decline in cognitive function. In 2016, cases of dementia in Indonesia reached 1.2 million cases and will increase because Indonesia is already in an aging population, so interventions are needed that can overcome problems in people with dementia, one of which is exergame. The effectiveness of giving exercise exergame to improve cognitive function in cases of dementia is known. From the search results of several databases, 35 articles were found, which were then filtered based on the inclusion–exclusion criteria so that 10 articles were obtained. Critical appraisal was carried out on 10 articles without duplication, and the final result after the selection was 5 articles. Of the five articles, three articles showed an increase in cognitive function after being given an exergame intervention from 8 weeks–6 months with a frequency of 3–5x/week. The exergame tools used in the three articles are Dividat Senso and interactive cycling. Exergame can be recommended as an intervention to improve cognitive function when used with the appropriate intervention dose, and the patient is obedient and disciplined in undergoing treatment. The Fishery Cooperative is one of the economic entities engaged in fisheries. Although the concept of a blue economy emerged in 2014, there is no research linking fishery cooperatives with the blue economy. Therefore, this scoping review aims to identify evidence of the contribution of fishery cooperatives to a sustainable blue economy, especially from a business perspective. This scoping review uses all articles in the SCOPUS database. The scoping review shows that the fishery cooperative supports a sustainable blue economy. It can increase economic growth by increasing fishermen’s harvest, improving fisheries and non-fisheries sectors, and developing a sustainable environment and economy. Full article

This study examines the relationship between Human Resources Information System(HRIS) application; system quality, information quality, service quality, and user satisfaction. The conceptual foundation for this paper is the DeLone and McLean information system success model (ISSM). This study contributes to existing research using the DeLone and McLean model applied in an Indonesian context. This research employs a descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The research sample consists of the whole utilization of HRIS that represented a division in public organizations exert in the security sector. The author uses the SPSS test in two stages: a validity and reliability test and a multiple regression analysis. The findings reveal that information quality and service quality partially influence user satisfaction. Full article

Parkinson’s disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s. Patients with PD experience motor disturbances, postural instability, gait disturbances, and balance disorders, causing a high risk of falls. Virtual reality (VR), as one physiotherapy intervention, can be an option to prevent the prevalence of accidental falls. In this literature review, the authors selected five papers to examine the effectiveness of VR in reducing fall risk in PD and its limitations. The results show a decrease in the risk of falling in PD, which was assessed using several parameters. Full article

Source publications are an important part of archive publication as mandated by the Act Archives Number 43 2009. The principle of good record management must be upheld in the manufacture of source publication so that the results are in accordance with applicable regulations. The steps that must be taken include determining the theme, tracing the archives in various archival institutions, and designing them into source publication books. Internet applications for creating books make source publication creation easier and more efficient. The results of this study indicate that the manufacture of source publications in the form of books is relatively easy and can be achieved using resources at archival institutions. Changes in the social environment in this digital era will cause different stimulation patterns for language development and social interaction skills in children. This study’s goal is to look into how to improve language ability in the digital age. Data were collected through observation, interviews, reviewing medical history, and conducting a specific assessment of occupational therapy, and then analyzed to identify performance and limitations related to the issues. This study found that the digital environment could bring a good impact if children are given assistance by adults when exposed to various audio-visual technologies. Full article

A good online learning system service performance can reduce the negative influence of the learning environment, which in turn can increase the effectiveness of the learning process. SPADA-DIKTI is one of the Indonesian government’s online learning system services. The purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of the service quality of the online learning system in the underdeveloped area that is referred to 3T areas (terdepan, terluar, tertinggal) in Indonesia. The Customer Satisfaction Index method is used to determine user perceptions of SPADA-DIKTI service performance, while the Important Performance Analysis is used to select attributes that need to be improved. The results showed that the CSI value was 75.39%, thus the users (student of underdeveloped area) of the online learning system services were satisfied. However, the number of Modules/Features according to the needs of the learning/teaching process) and Modules/Features according to the needs of the learning/teaching process need improvement to improve service quality. This research discusses the readiness of the sharia life insurance industry in terms of equity and the role of the Indonesian Sharia Insurance Association (AASI) in facing the spin-off of sharia insurance in 2024. The method used is a combination of a quantitative method to examine aspects of the readiness of the sharia life insurance industry to face the spin-off of sharia insurance as well as a qualitative method for the aspect of AASI’s role in facing that process. The purposes are to determine the extent to which the sharia life insurance industry is prepared to face the spin-off and the extent of AASI’s role in dealing with this process. The results show that 80% of companies that have sharia business units and are still actively registered as members of AASI are ready to conduct a spin-off with the method of forming a new sharia insurance company. AASI has also carried out various roles such as coordinating with OJK, organizing seminars and workshops, and providing information for interested parties. Full article

The purpose wants to achieve in running this campaign is to increase brand awareness and interest on Instagram. The method used by the #BelajarDimanaAja campaign is the AISAS communication model and uses a User-Generated Content Marketing strategy. Niche tourism is an umbrella term to show that certain activities serve a specialized segment of the tourism industry for their tourists. Facing new direction in tourism, a niche market also needs a niche marketing medium. This paper shows how certain media used to gather information for destination selection process can effectively create a better perceived image than other media. The data for this paper were collected using questionnaires aiming at the hashtag generation age groups. These age groups will be the potential marketing targets in near future. Approximately 250 questionnaires were collected with responses on where they obtained information about their dream destination and what reasons caused the medium they used to be the best source of information. In this modern era, where information moves fast and can be obtained via various media, different media can create different perceived images of tourist destinations. This paper is intended to show the opportunity for expanding the availability of segmentation that has potentials for niche marketing and for creating a new niche segmentation in the future, either though the medium used to promote the destination or expanding the destination itself. Graphic designers play an important role in producing various types of designs to meet the promotional needs of a business, especially in today’s digital media industry. This is closely related to marketing at Kumparan which requires design execution through the visual marketing team. Kumparan is an Indonesia’s leading digital news media platform, leveraging data and innovation to deliver fresh content to millions of readers daily through world-class storytelling and journalism. This paper shows the role of a graphic designer carrying out creative execution on the Kumparan visual marketing team in meeting the needs of KumparanPLUS premium content that tries to keep up with the times and the transformation of the new media industry with an interactive communication approach. The focus of KumparanPLUS is the provision of premium content to meet the information needs of the various types of Indonesian people with attractive visual presentations in the form of cover collections, cover stories, social media content, and infographics. This research is observational research conducted at Kumparan. The data were obtained from interviews, observations, assessments, and applications of graphic design practices. The contribution of a graphic designer will be seen through the results of creative execution to produce content with high engagement and achievements on the social media platform Instagram which has experienced a drastic increase from the number of followers of 11,000 within 4 months, as well as the interaction of each audience from each post. With the activities of the visual marketing team itself, it is expected to be able to achieve the main goal of premium content, namely brand loyalty. Full article

The research method uses descriptive qualitative analysis and SWOT analysis. This research was conducted by collecting data consisting of primary and secondary data. The total score of the IFE matrix is 2.87. The EFE matrix is 3.342. The endorsement policy is in cell II (grow and build). The strategy that can be applied is an intensive strategy which includes market penetration, market development and product development. The purpose of the study was to determine customer perceptions of the marketing mix and customer loyalty of the executive outpatient polyclinic at Hermina Galaxy Hospital. Descriptive research included 98 respondents who use health services. The results of the research on product, price, people, place, promotion, process and physical evidence as well as customer loyalty concluded that the highest percentage of the price element is 96.9%. This is the customer’s motive in choosing service products according to customer abilities where 84% of the respondents agreed. In all, 80% of the respondents were satisfied with the services provided by the hospital so that customers carry out reuse. Full article

The e-Bupot Unification application was published in order to provide ease of administration, especially for tax with holders. The purposes of this study are to describe what tax obligations can be fulfilled by a tax withholder using this application and to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of this application. The research methodology used is descriptive analysis, data were obtained from literature reviews and case studies. The results show that by using this application, the obligation of a tax withholder becomes easier, simpler, and more efficient. The simplification of tax administration in the use of this application has fulfilled the ease of administration principle. Full article

Populist figures were anything but a new phenomenon in Indonesian politics albeit in its short history as a modern state. However, in accordance with the recent development of news dissemination technology, the pattern of populist figure emergence was transformed. Not only in recent years we saw a considerable number of politicians, especially heads of local governments and ministers, attaining public popularity in ways unthinkable within the past political landscape. It is also unpredictable that the current president, who hardly had any strong political establishment, would rise into a legitimate candidate in the 2014 election without being underpinned by a novel and peculiar pattern of information and news circulation. This research aims to unravel the relationship between the current online media regime and the emergence of such populist figures. Additionally, as we follow the online news editorial process, we realized that we would not come to a satisfying conclusion, given that we disregard the materiality of the new media. Therefore, communication and media scholars should consider the importance of the agency of things, a conceptual apparatus proposed by scholars of Actor-Network Theory (ANT). Full article

Disorders of the musculoskeletal system, which includes muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, peripheral nerves, and blood vessels, due to workload and unsupportive work conditions are referred to as work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). In a pandemic situation, virtual activities are the main alternative allowing people to remain active. One approach that can be applied in this situation is telerehabilitation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of telerehabilitation in reducing pain and increasing the quality of life in workers with WMSDs. Based on the search results of 5 databases, 14 articles were found, which then underwent a critical appraisal, resulting in 6 articles to be reviewed. The results of this systematic review indicate that the application of telerehabilitation 2–3 times per week with a duration of 20–40 min for more than 6 weeks may be effective for individuals with neck, shoulder, and low back pain complaints due to an increase in the level of adherence to the physiotherapy program. It can be concluded that the application of telerehabilitation for workers provides benefits that can significantly reduce pain levels and have a positive impact on their quality of life, which affects work productivity and can be seen with the parameters VAS, QVAS, SF-12 HS, SF-36 HS, Work Ability Index, and EQ5D. This paper explored the contribution of TVET skill development in the transformation of the informal sector in the Kampala urban area of Uganda using qualitative research with a systematic literature review. The included articles in this study were based on four criteria: (i) focus on informal sector in developing countries like Uganda, (ii) linked informal sector with TVET (skill training), (iii) published in English language, (iv) downloadable article. The Preferred Reporting Items of Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework was used to retrieve 40 articles at step one. In step two, reading and screening articles by titles and abstracts, 26 articles were excluded (16 for duplication, and 10 articles had no clear connection with IS and TVET). In the final step, 14 articles were retained for in-depth reading guided by research questions with content analysis used in data analysis. It was found that the informal sector is not fast-growing and large, but it contributes over 50% of Uganda’s GDP and 20% comes from Kampala, which is the second-largest employer after agriculture providing over 70% of non-farm employment opportunities to vulnerable urban dwellers. Profitability is one indicator appropriate for measuring performance within a company. This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios, namely, the influence of Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Assets Turnover, Net Profit Margin, Return on Equity, Price to Earnings Ratio, and Company Reputation. Specifically, the study seeks to find out which ratio has the effect on the stock price of financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020. This study uses secondary data, where the data obtained from existing sources. The results show that there are only two variables, namely Current Ratio (CR) and Return on Equity (ROE) that affect stock prices in financial sector companies which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020. Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five (infants under 5 years old) due to chronic malnutrition, wherein the child is too short for their age. Some areas in Indonesia are still experiencing this problem and are overcome by social marketing programs. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of audio-visual media interventions on the knowledge of public in the prevention of stunting. This study applies an experimental design with pre- and post-test designs in the same group. The respondents were given materials in the form of educational audio-visual materials and nutritious recipes. There are 50 respondents involved in this study. The sampling method used nonprobability sampling by purposive sampling in the Nusa Tenggara Barat area. Bivariate data analysis was performed using SPSS statistical applications, and using the non-parametric two related sample (Wilcoxon) and Mann–Whitney tests. The result shows that mothers and cadres experienced an increase in knowledge after receiving social campaign materials in the form of audio visuals. This can be seen from the Z value, which shows the number −3.715 b with a p-value of 0.000 to 0.05. The Z value is −3.815 b with a p-value of 0.000 or p < 0.05, which meant that there were significant differences between knowledge and attitude before and after the audio-visual media intervention. Provision of health information can therefore be delivered effectively by using audiovisual material. This study also shows that audiovisual materials in the form of tutorials are preferred because they are easy to practice. Full article

Stroke is the major cause of disability globally. This disease can affect the patient’s independence and functional mobility severely. Community-based occupational therapy is expected to improve the post-stroke patient’s movement and independence to perform daily activities. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of community-based occupational therapy, providing assistive technology to a post-stroke patient with left-side paralysis in Situsari village. The data were collected through the direct implementation of occupational therapy and semi-structured interviews with clients and families. Based on the evaluation, the results show a significant increase in the independence level and occupational performance after using assistive technology. Full article

Kittens in their first four weeks are in their most critical period because they do not yet have the ability to thermoregulate their bodies, and it is still difficult for them to adapt to environmental temperatures. Due to this condition, veterinary clinics and cat-lover communities need facilities that can maintain a kitten’s body temperature within the normal range. One way to help in the care of these kittens is to use a special incubator for animals. Incubators are useful in situations where animals cannot control their body temperature conditions. The expected method to monitor the work system of the incubator is internet-based monitoring, as part of IoT (internet of things). Monitoring is very important for animal health workers and cat lovers in monitoring the temperature and humidity in the incubator using the internet, which allows monitoring to be carried out anytime and anywhere from a smartphone through the Blynk application. The purpose of this research is to create an IoT-based kitten incubator monitoring system through the blynk application so that the owner or nurse of the kitten can monitor in real time via a smartphone so that time efficiency can be improved, by using NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller with fuzzy logic method. The incubator can work automatically to regulate the temperature through lighting and air settings in it, with the applied temperature ranging from 26 degrees to 30 degrees Celsius. Full article

Finance, in particular, is tightly correlated with information-technology development. Digital currency or cryptocurrency is the outcome of the advancement of financial technology. As a means of payment over the internet, digital currencies are beginning to be widely used. This currency was developed in order to facilitate and secure transactions. Transaction fees have decreased as a result of the adoption of blockchain technology. Because it has a negative effect on the financial system, monetary stability, and payment system, government policy forbids transactions involving cryptocurrencies. Understanding of the stochastic and genetic algorithm models used in cryptocurrency is provided by this research. Cryptocurrency is a financial technological advancement that is part of the technological package and it enables banknotes to be replaced in financial transactions. A genetic algorithm (GA) achieved an MSE value of 0.0863 and an MPE of 0.0084 with data on cryptocurrencies. The aim of this research was that, in the future, the government would support cryptocurrency technology so that the laws that are passed preserve the Indonesian market while not forbidding anything outright. Cost control is very important for companies in the era of big data because the cost is the main factor affecting a company’s competitiveness. This study aims to examine the impact of big data and data analytics on cost control in companies. This qualitative research uses the literature review method to better understand the influence of big data and data analytics (BDA) on cost control in the company. The results of the study revealed that, with the rapid development of information technology, the integration between data analytics and big data can effectively increase the competitiveness of the company’s market. This study examines the use of digital technology in hybrid events in organizing events during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The research methods used are descriptive-qualitative using interviews, observations, and literature research. The results showed that hybrid events could be one of the alternatives for holding events during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hybrid activities that combine digital and physical elements at the event are expected to bring several benefits, such as allowing stakeholders to participate physically and digitally and share the same experience at the event. Wae Rebo Village is one of the tourism objects located in Manggarai Regency, NTT; the local tourist attraction is the community’s effort to maintain traditional houses commonly called Mbaru Niang. The purpose of the study was to develop a model for the development of the Wae Rebo tourist village with a technological approach. The concepts used are tourism development, local wisdom, Sustainability Tourism and People’s Economy. The research method uses a qualitative approach by observing the research object, namely, the potential for tourist attractions and the condition of social and cultural communities as well as conducting interviews with traditional leaders. The results of the research on the attractiveness of Wae Rebo are traditional houses, namely, Mbaru Niang and nature tourism. The development of Wae Rebo maintains local wisdom by maintaining cultural heritage and the sustainability of social capital is the hallmark of the Wae Rebo tourist village in maintaining the community’s economy. However, a technological infrastructure approach is needed for marketing local products in the form of coffee and woven fabrics, as well as the role of the government as a companion, especially in improving human resource capabilities because tourism villages are included in the category of developing tourist villages, so that their sustainability can be maintained towards an independent tourist village. Case description. This case study evaluates an adult male, 24 years old, diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome and referred to a physiotherapy clinic because of pain and stiffness in the forearm and an inability to lift a heavy object. A physiotherapy session was given twice a week for three weeks. In the first week, ultrasound and reciprocal inhibition were applied, in the second week ultrasound therapy and post-isometric relaxation were applied and in the last week, ultrasound therapy and a post-contraction stretch were applied. After five interventions, the combination of ultrasound therapy and muscle energy techniques improved the functional ability by about 86.97% (from 19.2 to 2.5) measured with the Disabilities of the Arm Shoulder and Hand questionnaire (DASH). This case study suggests that the combination of ultrasound therapy and muscle energy techniques used for thoracic outlet syndrome, including a home exercise plan with the continuous monitoring of posture correction, could allow the patient to return to work. The rapid development of increasingly sophisticated technology leads companies to continue developing and adapting to current technology, especially in product promotion activities to increase brand awareness. The increase in social media usage has made many companies, especially those in the ice cream industry, shift to utilizing social media in their marketing promotion activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the aspects that influence social media marketing strategies to achieve effective consumer brand awareness. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis method that compared the social media implementation of several brands of ice cream, using SWOT analysis. Data from social media measurements resulted in the number of views and subscribers. The results showed that brands achieved high consumer awareness by managing social media. Management methods included choosing social media, choosing content, and choosing the right influencer according to the market characteristics and target. Full article

Sidetapa Village is located in Buleleng province, Bali, Indonesia. Economic resilience has become a priority due to the devastating impact of the recent pandemic on this village. This paper describes how Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) methods used within a community engagement program implemented by the University of Indonesia can develop economic resilience in that village. ABCD is a method of helping communities to develop based on their strengths and potential. This method focuses on leveraging existing strengths within the community. The tools used are the 5D Cycle of Appreciative Inquiry. The result is a digital marketing workshop to support local craft businesses. Full article

Academic services for interns are one of the decisive factors in supporting the success of student studies in vocational education. Various services to support the student internship process have been provided by campus to help students attend lectures, especially during the post-pandemic period. Service during a pandemic or transition period after going through a pandemic is a separate phenomenon that must be faced by students, especially those undergo internships with companies. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. The research instruments used were questionnaire interviews and additional in-depth interviews with several alumni who had recently graduated. The Likert scale was used in this questionnaire research. The result of this research was a measurement of the quality of service provided to students starting from the internship preparation period to the completion of the internship. From the research conducted, it was found that the quality of academic services for internship students were good or near-excellent on average. It would benefit the program to maintain or increase the quality that it has attained. Full article

Hospital X in the South Tangerang serves BPJS outpatients, every month sending claims for outpatient services to BPJS Health, but not all submitted claims are processed by BPJS Health. There are a number of claims that are returned because they are not in accordance with the provisions for submitting claims. This study aims to overview the causes of claims returns and follow-up the returned claims of Hospital X. The method used in this study is a quantitative description where the documents studied are claim documents returned by BPJS Health to Hospital X in the period of September 2020 to August 2021. A total of 3795 claim documents were returned; there were 3194 claims returned due to repeated control indicated factors, while the rest were due to physiotherapy service indication factors more than 8 times per month, errors in determining the procedure code, incomplete supporting files and other reasons. After hospital X corrected the returned claims, there were 974 claims that could not be resubmitted, so these claims were considered as a cost to Hospital X. The cause of the claim not being resubmitted was because the patient eligibility letter was printed more than once. This article offers suggestions to minimize patient visits in the near future and to follow the latest policy developments from BPJS Health regarding outpatient claims. Full article

This study discusses the process of digitizing the Dutch East India Company (VOC) treasures archive from the 17th century to the mid-20th century during the Dutch East Indies colonial government (1818–1942). This VOC archive has been recognized by UNESCO as a world historical heritage, namely, the Memory of the World Register, in March 2004. The National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI), as a national archival institution, is responsible for opening these archives online for the public, students, scientists, and all those in need around the world. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a digitization process for easy access to the VOC archives. The purpose of this study was to see how the process of digitizing the VOC archives was carried out and what obstacles were encountered in the process. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study method through a narrative description of data analysis that focuses on digitizing activities carried out by the ANRI, especially in the Reproduction and Archive Digitization Sub-Directorate. Data were collected through observation of digitization activities, interviews with archivists involved, analysis of digitizing documents, and literature studies. The results that can be reviewed are the process of digitizing the VOC archives, starting from the archive identification stage, metadata preparation, archive digitization, digitizing quality control, digital archive storage, and making reports of the activity of digitization. The digitized archives are presented on the website of “Sejarah Nusantara-Arsip Nasionalthat”, which can be freely accessed by the public. The conclusion obtained is that the digitization of the VOC archives has been carried out well according to the standard procedures previously established and the practice theory of archive digitization in general. Small and medium-sized businesses make a significant contribution to Indonesia’s economy. The goal of this essay is to assess the degree to which strategy and the digital marketing environment have an impact. Data collection was carried out by observation and the distribution of 120 questionnaires, and the research approach employed was quantitative research using SPSS 23. The findings of the article demonstrate that SMEs strategies may swiftly adjust to changes in technology by paying attention to features of functions, interpersonal communication, access, incentives, and the quality of production and services. The development of the digital and creative industry today opens up more opportunities to carry out marketing activities, both products and services; especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced us all to switch to digital platforms. Social media still plays an important role in the digital marketing process. Currently, social media marketing is no longer carried out by the creative industry, but also by government agencies, organizations, private companies, and educational institutions, including the Vocational Education Program at the Universitas Indonesia. One of the social media that is actively used is Instagram. Instagram is the primary social media used, in addition to other social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Mostly, the UI Vocational Education Program Instagram contents were still in photo or image format. The other content formats are needed and expected to increase engagement with the audience. With the increasing variety of social media and competition with other educational institutions, marketing content that is published also needs to be made creatively to attract audiences consuming the content. This study will discuss the role of creative content in the marketing strategies of social media educational institutions. The research was conducted qualitatively through literature study and observation. Not only explaining the importance of the role of creative content, this research will also explain what details should be in the creative content. Full article

As a specific form of water transport that involves a simultaneous carriage of passengers and cargo, the function of a ferry to bridge one area to another is threatened by the fast growth of air transport, which is not only faster and more convenient but also often cheaper than traveling by ferry. The objective of this paper is to identify market expectations of ferry services and to identify the opportunity for ferry tourism development in Indonesia. This paper is a market survey of 103 ferry passengers in seven locations in Indonesia: Merak, Bakauheni, Bayuwangi, Bali, Batam, Labuan Bajo, and Lake Toba. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics to identify customers’ top-of-mind opinions. The results show that the market prefers extended digital platforms to co-create their experience, both in ferry services and their trips, shortened route ferries to enrich their experience on multi-transportation facilities, while providing more entertainment and recreational facilities on longer routes, as well as instagrammable spots, both on the ferry or in the terminal. There are also collaboration opportunities with sports and other communities to cater to weekenders to create island-hopping events on weekends. The conclusion is that ferry operators should conduct market surveys periodically to understand their markets and their requirements to cope with the ever-changing marketplace. In addition, co-creating products with community customers and product development innovations is the solution to make ferry tourism relevant to current and future demands. Full article

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused social restrictions to prevent transmission, which creates limitations on interactions with other people, including family and friends. Smartphones are a tool that can help people to connect with family, friends, and others to conduct some activities to support daily life. By using a smartphone, people can connect and interact with other people without the need to meet in person. Smartphones among the younger generation have certainly become very important objects which they use almost all the time. Of course, this is a different situation and condition for older people. When the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, all human activities changed massively, including social activities. It would be interesting to study this situation in elderly people. This study aims to explore smartphone usage time and related social life in the elderly population when the COVID- 19 pandemic occurred in Indonesia. Individual interviews were conducted on a targeted group of respondents aged 60–75 years using purposeful sampling, followed by a semi-structured interview using an interview guide. The collected data will be analyzed using thematic analysis of the three roles smartphones have in the lives of elderly people: (1) enriching individual meaningful activities, (2) participation in activities, and (3) energy conservation for individuals. The elderly use smartphones to connect with their families during the COVID 19 pandemic so they do not feel lonely, and to access health services, but some elderly have difficulty adapting to using smartphones to carry out activities during the pandemic. The use of smartphones by the elderly is very helpful during the pandemic to stay connected with family and obtain health assistance. However, sudden changes make it difficult for the elderly to adapt to the use of smartphones; therefore, it is necessary to have a brief and easy-to-understand guide for the elderly to be able to adapt to using smartphones. Miss Universe is a global beauty platform. The history of this event spans 70 years. The purpose of this study was to see the messages contained in the personal branding displayed by the Miss Universe participants. This type of research is qualitative, using the semiotic theories of Charles Sanders Peirce. The paradigm used is constructivist, with the intention of seeing that reality is the result of a construction or formation by humans themselves. The data source is the Instagram account of the Miss Universe winners from 2017–2021. The objective of this study is to determine the form of personal branding through messages carried out by the Miss Universe contestants as agents of change and inspiration for the youth. Javanese gamelan art is an “Adiluhung” art. In Javanese gamelan art, various elements of art are combined; namely, music, sound, literature, and visual arts. In addition, many values are obtained from Javanese gamelan art. However, it is unfortunate that the interest in some of the younger generations to explore gamelan art has decreased. This encourages cultural art actors to take part in the preservation and development of gamelan art in order that it remains sustainable. One of these steps is by utilizing gamelan art through exploring the leadership values that exist in this art, in order to increase the competence of human resources. This study aims to explore the preservation and development of gam elan art and examine its leadership values with the use of qualitative methodology. The results showed that gamelan art can be used as a leadership training material as well as for preservation. Furthermore, in Javanese gamelan art, leadership values can be implemented in everyday life. In summary, this paper provides a discussion of gamelan art as a leadership material for the preserva tion and exploration of leadership values in Javanese gamelan art. Full article

This study discusses the analysis of the effectiveness of implementing tax incentives for luxury goods in the manufacturing industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the provision of tax incentives for luxury goods is one of the government’s concrete efforts to minimize risks that will occur in aspects and fields affected by the pandemic. This incentive is officially granted through the issuance of PMK 20/PMK.010/21, concerning Sales Tax on Luxury Goods on the Delivery of Taxable Goods Classified as Luxury in the Form of Certain Motorized Vehicles Covered by the Government for the 2021 Fiscal Year, which was effective from 26 February 2021–01 April 2021, and was then accompanied by changes and the renewal of sales tax on luxury goods regulations during the pandemic. The author conducts an analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods (mixed method research) using secondary data and primary data, where secondary data are obtained from motor vehicle sales data before and after the COVID-19 pandemic from Gaikindo, which are processed using SPSS with normality tests and paired-sample T-tests. Then, for primary data, the author distributes questionnaires to Gaikindo and then processes them using multiple regression analysis. It is hoped that from the results of this analysis of the implementation of this incentive in the manufacturing industry, it can be found from the sales of motorized vehicles before and after the COVID-19 pandemic that the policy steps taken by the government were indeed effective and provided benefits not only to entrepreneurs engaged in manufacturing, but also to the community as consumers, so that what is described to the public so far is in accordance with the reality on the ground. A circular economy seeks to extend products, raw materials, and existing resources in the wheel of life to make them useful as long as possible. The conversion from the old economy form to a circular economy is a complex practice that requires the involvement of appropriate policy interventions, one of which is tax policy. The current situation of tax policy is described in this study, while analyzing the inhibiting factors and weaknesses of tax policy instruments and proposing a design for tax policy reconstructions that can be built for the implementation of a circular economy in Indonesia. The soft system methodology (SSM) used in this research. The evaluation outcome shows that the tax policy is still limited as it has not focused on efforts to implement a circular economy-based industry; therefore, tax incentive policies are considered to still not be effective. In addition, the administration of tax policy implementation is not simple; it is not neutral and, thus, does not attract industry. Further research is required at the framework level or even for each type of industry. More detailed examination is required for tax policies proposed on the basis of the results of this study. Natural resources from the sea and the preservation of the maritime environment are the most important parts of developing a blue economy. Indonesia is a maritime country with an area of 6,400,000 km² of water. The sea is a source of Indonesia’s assets, with fisheries sector revenues comprising around US$ 27 billion of the total GDP, supporting 7 million jobs, and providing 50% of domestic animal protein needs. The increasing demand for natural resources, including energy from the ocean, can provide new possibilities and challenges for creating sustainable marine ecosystems, and conserving marine natural resources. Indonesia needs to reform the management of the blue economy to increase investment contributions, in order to improve the governance of existing fisheries and marine ecosystems, including mangrove forests and coral reefs. We examine data on natural resources from the ocean and assets of the blue economy to determine a conceptual framework for accounting for the value of natural resource assets; this can be used to provide stakeholders with complete information about the potential of the blue economy, thereby strengthening the need for and protecting valuable natural resources for future generations. This study aims to determine the performance of daily transactions in the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the COVID-19 pandemic against those in other ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. This research is conducted against the background of the COVID-19 global pandemic that has affected stock exchanges across all countries in the world. The results of this research confirm those of several other studies that state that the COVID-19 pandemic has reduced the performance of stock exchanges in several countries in the world. The research method used in this study involves a descriptive quantitative approach with a random sampling technique on four stock exchanges from four ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, with 2017–2020 as the observation period. The results showed that at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the four countries responded positively to the impact of COVID-19, which resulted in a decrease in the value of daily transactions. However, not long after Q2, all exchanges slowly experienced a recovery, and even the Indonesia Stock Exchange recorded the highest growth in transaction value in the last 20 years. Full article

The incidence of cardiovascular disease has increased significantly worldwide, and it is a major cause of death. Cardiovascular disease in health workers can increase absenteeism and become a problem for healthcare systems. Quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic can reduce physical activity and daily physical exercise, thereby interfering with physical fitness and heart health. There is a need for the development of physical exercises to prevent the risk of cardiovascular disease, for example, Senam Jantung Sehat (healthy heart exercises) and muscle strength training. This was an interventional study comparing two groups (test and control). Five subjects (health workers) completed the study in the intervention group, participating in Senam Jantung Sehat and muscle strength training administered virtually through Zoom. Thirty-four subjects (health workers) in the control group were provided with physical activity education. The intervention was delivered for 3 months, for a total of 36 sessions. Data analysis was carried out to assess the mean and delta differences using unpaired T tests and Mann–Whitney tests. Data analysis was carried out for the five intervention subjects according to the criteria of >60% attendance. The main risk factor for cardiovascular disease is the body mass index (BMI). The average physical exercise adherence rate in the test group was 33.1%. It was found that the decrease in BMI and percent body fat was higher in the test group than the control group (p = 0.025 and p = 0.031). The decrease in back muscle strength was higher in the control group than the test group (p = 0.007). The decrease in systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, and low-density lipoprotein and the increase in cardiorespiratory fitness tended to be higher in the test group, although the differences were not statistically significant.
